Justin Bieber was blocked by security when trying to talk to Rihanna at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (22.05.11). The 17-year-old singer – who was accompanied to the bash by girlfriend Selena Gomez - was reportedly left red-faced after he was prevented from talking to the 'S&M' star after he approached her five times at the prestigious event, which took place at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena. The insider said: “Justin thinks Rihanna is the most beautiful woman and supremely talented. “He is in awe of her. Justin is just a red-blooded teenager, he can’t help acting like a love-sick puppy dog when he’s around her. “The pair were chatting as Justin’s girlfriend Selena looked on, scowling. Then Rihanna got dragged away by a couple of her friends. “The pair resumed their chat later but when Justin went to talk to her at the show’s climax her security blocked his path, telling him to ‘leave it’." I don’t have to think about it, I don’t have to guess.” She added: “They say right to me what they like, what they hate, what they want, what they want more of. And that is important."

After three visits last week and an attempted meal on Sunday night (alas, the East Sydney diner was closed), RiRi returned again this week after her taping of Chelsea Lately. This time she dined on scampi, a plate of gnocchi and pasta casareccia. "She has a healthy appetite for someone so slim," one diner said.

Rihanna has said that she was 'nervous' before recording 'Love The Way You Lie' with Eminem. Speaking to Chelsea Handler she said: 'He called me and I was completley ecstatic that Eminem wanted to do a song with me. '(But) I was really nervous. I was such a huge fan and then you see his eyes. There's so much going on- it blows your mind to see someone with so many thoughts and emotions. 'You just want to know what thoughts are going through his mind.'

Rihanna could have another movie role lined-up, reports reveal. Apparently RiRi is being eyed to fill Whitney Houston's shoes by starring in a remake of 1992 film The Bodyguard. The updated movie version will be scripted by Jeremiah Friedman and Nick Palmer, Deadline.com reports. Rumor has it the storyline will see a woman stalked by an obsessed fan online - using social network sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Other artists also being considered for the project include Beyonce and Miley Cyrus, while Channing Tatum could land the role of the bodyguard - originally played by Kevin Costner.
