Rihanna all set for first public performance after controversy
'Umbrella' singer Rihanna is set to perform on an episode of 'The Jay Leno Show', six months after she was assaulted by former boyfriend Chris Brown.
The R&B star will appear on the 'The Jay Leno Show' on September 14, alongside hip-hop stars Kanye West and Jay-Z, Entertainment Tonight reported.
The trio are expected to perform their new single 'Run This Town'. Hollywood star Tom Cruise is also in negotiations to appear on the programme.
The 21-year-old star has kept a low-profile since the assault controversy in February this year.
Brown who was scheduled for a formal sentencing hearing on Wednesday was postponed until August 27 after the judge ruled she was not satisfied with the terms of his community labour order.
