Rumor has it, Rihanna will premiere an accompanying music video for her fresh single "Russian Roulette" on November 6. The video is directed by Anthony Mandler and will have its debut on ABC during the network's primetime hour.
Beside having a music video premiered on ABC, Rihannawill also perform live at the TV network on November 23 to celebrate the release of her new album "Rated R". The Barbadian songstress is scheduled to take the stage of "Good Morning America" on that date.
"Russian Roulette" is the album's first single. Written by Ne-Yo and produced by Chuck Harmony, the song becomes Rihanna's first release since being involved in an altercation with Chris Brown back in February.
In a recent interview with MTV, Chuck threw speculation on why Rihanna wants "Russian Roulette" as the lead single. "If I had to speculate, I would speculate that [she released it] for shock value," he said. " 'Russian Roulette' is the kind of song that when you hear it you're gonna talk about it - whether you like it, you talk about it. It's so unexpected, from the tempo to the title to the feel."
