Esquire selects Rihanna as ‘sexiest woman alive’

Esquire has let it be known that if you’re standing under Rihanna’s umbrella or lying next to her on a California king sized bed than you’re up close and personal with the sexiest woman alive.

Rihanna is taking this news, like most things that come across her pop landscape, in stride. She knows that sexuality is a part of her persona but for the vast majority of the time it’s just on a subconscious level.

“At the end of a concert, I don’t feel like I’ve been this sexy thing. Really, I don’t even think about it.”

I think the fact that she does her thing and sexiness just comes out in a very natural way is part of why the Barbados born performer is so titillating. She did acknowledge that at least part of her live show calls for some in your face hotness.

“Unless it’s a song that really calls for it, like ‘Skin’ or ‘S&M,’ or when I cover Darling Nikki. There’s a section that’s called ‘Sex’ in the show, which is the obvious section for sexuality.”
