Rihanna Says C Word Is Offensive To Everyone Except Bajans

Rihanna reveals just what she thinks about her cunt necklace. (see below). Rihanna also has a real issue with being a role model, as a matter fact she loathes the responsibility. The Rude Boy singer saw her sexy wax figure on display in the UK this week alongside Amy Winehouse and Lady Gaga. Rihanna’s wax figure flaunts her envious shape while showing off just enough skin to tell you she’s no saint of a rock star.

Rihanna is also on the November cover of British Vogue and finally speaks on that darn cunt word necklace she insist on wearing. We’ve stated before we think it’s part of her image and works quite well.
The S&M singer did admit that she’s playing a part and her antics can be summed up as such. But the c-word necklace may be less of a marketing ploy and more of Rihanna’s familiarity with the word.

She tells UK Vogue,

“That word is so offensive to everyone in the world except for Bajans. You know African-Americans use the N-word to their brothers? Well, that’s the way we use the C-word,” Rihanna explains. “When I first came here, I was saying it like it was nothing, like, ‘Hey, c–t,’ until my makeup artist finally had to tell me to stop. I just never know.”

It’s hard to believe as the Ambassador for Barbados tourism that the island wants to be associated with wholly believing that cunt is an interchangeable word for friend/girl. But Rihanna is making one point clear, she knows how everyone interprets the word and yet she continues to wear it – so there – take it or leave. Is it also unfair for parents to assign role model titles to pop stars???
