The judge announced that the singer must do physical labour, not community service, apart from attending a 52-week domestic violence-counselling programme. He has also been fined 2500 dollars and has been asked to maintain a physical distance of 100 yards from Rihanna for five years. The judge has warned that the violation of the terms would be taken “very, very seriously,” the BBC reports. The 20-year-old R&B star had pleaded guilty for the crime in June this year. However, sentencing had been delayed from 5 August as a response was still awaited from officials in Virginia as to whether Brown could serve his community labour in that state. He has to now reappear in court on 19 November for a progress report. According to a rep for the NYC Health Department, a citation has been issued to East Side Ink for allowing an unlicensed tattoo artist to work there. "Yes, a violation was issued to East Side Ink after an inspector found the parlor operating with an unlicensed tattoo artist on the site," the rep tells MTV News about the violation. 'Umbrella' singer Rihanna is set to perform on an episode of 'The Jay Leno Show', six months after she was assaulted by former boyfriend Chris Brown. The R&B star will appear on the 'The Jay Leno Show' on September 14, alongside hip-hop stars Kanye West and Jay-Z, Entertainment Tonight reported. The trio are expected to perform their new single 'Run This Town'. Hollywood star Tom Cruise is also in negotiations to appear on the programme. The 21-year-old star has kept a low-profile since the assault controversy in February this year. Brown who was scheduled for a formal sentencing hearing on Wednesday was postponed until August 27 after the judge ruled she was not satisfied with the terms of his community labour order.
